Here comes a Lemon Drop* to rival the Pink Egg and the Blue Peep!
What it does:
Sephora Brand Sephora Precision Sponge makes it easy to achieve complexion perfection. Apply foundation, concealer, and blush with this advanced, contoured tool; you can even layer different colors strategically without mixing. Use the rounded end of the sponge to cover large areas of the face and the pointed end to reach trickier spots and angles.

The beauty giant’s house-brand answer to the other two tapered and washable makeup sponges, the Sephora Precision Sponge (US$12) is cheaper than the Beautyblender (US$19.95) and slightly pricier than the Sonia Kashuk Blending Sponge (US$9.99).
Described as a ‘3D makeup sponge inspired by professional makeup artists’, this anti-bacterial sponge is latex-free and hypoallergenic, just like the Beautyblender. I’m not sure about the term ‘3D sponge’ though, aren’t all sponges three-dimensional? :P
The colourful trio have the same functions and usage methods but will the yellow Sephora sponge be as good as or better than the other two, I wonder? I’m also curious to know if it is made in China (the blue Sonia Kashuk sponge) or in the USA (the pink Beautyblender).
I can’t wait to get this at Sephora Ion Orchard, just so I could compare the three. All we need now is a green one to make this cheerful sponge set even more Easter egg-like!
* Special thanks to Emakemeup viners for the heads-up and for coining the adorable term. :)
