A Pick-Me-Up Haul

When I went into Bud Cosmetics at Square 2 last week to look at Patyka’s aloe vera hand cream, I emerged from the store with a Sante Naturkosmetik eyeshadow palette and 100% Pure Fresh Squeezed Lime Juicy Shower Gel.

The intense shadow colours of  the shadow trio really surprised me. Suitable for sensitive eyes, this  shadow trio and others in its range are BDIH-certified (they apparently have no synthetic colouring agents, fragrances and preservatives). The middle and last shades are not as plummy as they look in the photo and are more taupe/brown-grey with a twist of pewter.

The shower gel, reminiscent of the pink grapefruit one from the same brand, perked me up immediately with its piquant scent. So authentic is the smell that my younger son asked if he could drink it! :P

A stopover at Watsons later saw me leave with a back-up of K-Palette Real Lasting Eybrow Liner, currently 50% off. I’ve been using mine almost every day lately and I still marvel at how easy it is to use. I like to quickly run a spooly brush through my brows after applying the ink – this gives my faint brows a simple, natural look.

Having been lethargic and listless lately (no thanks to the bad weather and troubled sleep), these items were a real treat. :)

I love the taupey e/s shades – that looks like a very pretty palette. The 100% Pure range always seems to draw us in, doesn’t it, right from the name to the pretty products (I want to try the hair balm)….sigh….now you’ve got me itching to run to Square2 ;)

      Hello TUG,

It is a lovely palette. You must swatch it at the store! BC can also be found at Mandarin Gallery (but I guess you already know that, hehe!).

Years ago, I remember a line here in the U.S. called Sante and it was one of those natural herbal lines similar to Yves Rocher. I no longer see it here but was wondering if this was the same line. Do they have a website mentioned on the packaging or the catalog?
