The good people at Anna Sui recently gave me its eyelash curler (S$19, including a replacement eyelash pad) to try, after I’d expressed interest in it during the tour of the Anna Sui Orchard counter. I must thank the management for remembering – despite the fact that they were out of the curler for a long period of time, they never forgot about me and made efforts to make sure that I received it.
Black with purple accents, this chic little accessory will sit prettily on any makeup counter…like every Anna Sui product. Its simple beauty notwithstanding, I was quite impressed by the gentle yet firm grip of the tool. I also like that the purple pad allows me to clearly see the lashes it is grasping.
Photos say it best when it comes to eyelash curlers reviews, so:
Here are my sad lashes, neither long nor lush. It doesn’t help that they are naturally hidden under my hooded mono-lid.
Here they are, given a reprieve by the Anna Sui curler. What a difference a tool makes! If it can do this for my pathetic follicles, imagine what it can do for you if you already have nice eyelashes. ;)
I like it best for curling after mascara actually. As the Anna Sui curler is gentle, it doesn’t hurt my lashes at all. My lids don’t feel any physical stress and I’ve experienced no lash fall-out. Although I don’t recommend doing this on a daily basis, it makes a difference in curl-longevity and enhances my lashes even more.
my eyelashes are short too and the curler works good on you. =)
Hi Choo,
Do give it a go. If you prefer something with a firmer grip, the MAC eyelash curler is excellent!
I’ve loved the goth chic feel of Anna Sui products for a long, long time. This eyelash curler looks so pretty and also seems to be at a more comfortable pricepoint…definitely worth checking out…thanks for the rec!
Hi TUG,
They are gorgeous. The curler is very affordable and the best thing? IT WORKS. :D
