My mum recently gave me a trio of beauty items:
- Tina’s Dresser Oil Blotting Paper
- Tina’s Dresser Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown
- Babi Story Cotton Puff Case
The blotters are made of thin brown paper; more old-style, compared to the stretchy material of many of the latest versions of oil control sheets.
The pencil is hard enough for precise application but soft enough to be shaded/blended out. There’s also a brush at the other end of the pencil. The cap that covers the nib is awkward though – it’s really long, compared to the one for the brush. That said, it’s been a while since I’ve used a non-retractable pencil, so this was a pleasant surprise!
Made in Korea, this receptacle is very much Anna Sui-inspired with the black plastic, as well as the rose and butterfly motifs. ;)
Great gifts from you mom. I esp love the Cotton Puff case.
Hey Farah,
I think it’s very convenient. I’ve wanted one similar to it for a while now (I’ve been putting up with a Muji acrylic one that has a slippery cover). :)
Where did you get the Babi Story Cotton Puff Case?
It is so adorable. :)
Hi Jogi, Lilian and Amelia,
I’m guessing Robinsons because that’s the bag the gifts came in. You could also try John Little – I’ve seen Tina’s Dresser there. Good luck!
oops! sorry for the typo in my previous comment~
Hihi, I love the black Anna Sui-inspired case. May I know where your mum bought it from? Thanks
