I had a preview of this Topshop collection when Iris gave me the magnificent Eye Crayon in Zephyr. It’s finally landed on our shores and with very little persuasion from her, I hauled some Sandstorm lovelies! ;)
I purchased:
- Eyeshadow Mousse in Tundra – A shimmery pewter-olive that would make a unique sparkly shadow base.
- Eyeshadow Duo in Meteoric – A baked shadow duo in a deep plum and a berried cream (‘plum/silver’ on the Topshop website but the second shade is not silver, for sure).
- Eyshadow Duo in Solar Cell – A baked shadow duo in a blackened grey and a medium teal (‘charcoal/turquoise’ on the webby).
As with many Topshop makeup items, they were affordable and only cost S$19 each. The marblelised baked shadows have beautiful undulating patterns on them, reminiscent of stormy whirlwinds. I particularly like how well they show up over a blackened base – incredible! :)
