It’s been a long time since I’ve seen and used these but I’m ever so grateful for them now!
They’re great for cleaning tiny crevices and are soft enough not to chafe. When my little one had a rash on her face and ears a while back, these cotton balls were a boon for cleaning her rashy skin with Permasol, a purple anti-septic cleansing solution. All I had to do was soak, squeeze and dab – easy-peasy and I didn’t have to stain any face cloths. :)
Thanks to their pliable nature, they’re also great for cleaning the parts of the body where there are folds, including the underarms and the nappy area.
These soft and fluffy rounds feel good on the skin and make wonderful tools for makeup removal. They serve a makeup purpose too – some makeup artists use cotton balls to apply blush for a soft, barely-there finish.
I bought mine from Tollyjoy (S$2.80 for 100 balls) but you can also find them from other baby brands such as Pigeon. 100 of these fluff balls can fit into an Ikea GLIS box with some compressing (the balls can be easily fluffed up again before usage).

I should get me some of these to! Think they’ll be great for undereye areas! Can I just say I love this series? I know you’re pressed for time but I realllly hope to see more entries like this cos they’re so useful! *mwah mwah*
Hey Kas,
Thank you for your kind words; I enjoy writing this series too. :)
I’m not sure about the undereye areas but I like them for blush application and blush boo-boos!
Hey,
Mind if I ask for the exact location where you got this packet of cotton balls, as I went to a few Kiddy Palace around my area they dont seem to carry it:( neither guardian or watsons seems to be selling them too!
Hi Inky,
I saw these at Metro City Square Mall. :) They can be found at the baby section of most department stores like Isetan and BHG too. Good luck!
