An unusual nail hue from Dior, Lagoon is a cerulean blue with a dusty edge.
Labelled a ‘sorbet-like color glossy nail lacquer’, Lagoon is from the Dior Summer Mix collection of fun candy-coloured shades.
A glossy, slightly translucent finish distinct from Dior’s classic collections
The nail colours promise a semi-translucent jelly finish, though Lagoon is quite opaque with two layers (there’s visible nail line, I’ll admit but just barely discernible).
As with the latest slew of Dior polishes, Lagoon has an over-sized brush that makes application a breeze. It dries quite fast and though there can be slight bubbling, a good topcoat easily takes care of that.
I’m not sure if it’s the polish or the Zoya Anchor Base Coat that I used but my press piece only started showing tip wear on the 3rd or 4th day of wear.
In Singapore, this limited edition nail lacquer retails at S$37.
