First Skincare Purchase of 2013: Aqualabel White Clear Foam and Senka Perfect Whip Cleansing Foam

Aqualabel White Clear Foam and Senka Perfect Whip Cleansing Foam

Here are 2 trusty facial washes that I use again and again.

Comprising hyaluronic acid granules and white clay powder, Aqualabel White Clear Foam is an old-time fave; a cross between a facial foam and a scrub. like that it isn’t too harsh and has a mild exfoliating effect. In Singapore, it retails at S$16.90 for 130 g.

Dense and stretchy like roasted marshmallow, Senka Perfect Whip Cleansing Foam has a lovely texture. The brand compares it to mochi (a glutinous Japanese confection). I love its comfortable sensation on my skin. It’s apparently very popular – quite a few people on my Instagram feed love it and some even stock up on this cleanser when they visit Taiwan where it retails at around S$5 for 120 g, compared to S$10.90 in Singapore.

Both foam up nicely and clean my face well. I like them equally for ridding my skin of overnight skincare residue, as well as the second step in double-cleansing (aka after makeup remover, especially cleansing oil).

Aqualabel White Clear Foam Small and Big

Under the Shiseido brand, these Japanese face washes are available exclusively at Watsons stores. When I purchased them earlier this month, the Aqualabel came with a free 60 ml tube.

There’s currently also an Aqualabel starter kit available at Watsons – a good way for you to venture into the brand. :)
