This June, the Pierre Hardy x Nars capsule collection will arrive on our sunny shores.
Inspired by the designer’s 2013 high-fashion shoe collection, the Pierre Hardy for NARS collection also includes six nail polish pairs presented in the spirit of his signature shoebox packaging for ultra modern couplings of conceptual color.
– Nars
In the collection are Nail Polish Pairs in Ethno Run (orange/navy), Sharplines (peach/burgundy), Vertebra (coral/dusty rose), Easy Walking (rose gold/camel), Sharks (yellow/lavender).
I didn’t get the chance to play with these ‘provocative pairs’ at the media preview but you can find heaps of swatches online.
Venemous (a gunmetal/black) is part of the nail sets too but it’s an online-exclusive.
Also in the collection are Blush Palettes in Rotonde (tiger lily) and Boys Don’t Cry (pink grapefruit). They’re bigger than the regular blushes and if memory serves me right, they are the same size as the Nars Light Reflecting Pressed Powder. These eye-catching face colours are embossed with a shimmery overspray of the designer’s iconic avant-garde geometric print.
Formulated with micronised powder, these silky and superbly-pigmented blushes will last you a very, very long time. They’ll be awesome over deeper skintones, for sure. I’m very tempted by the cooler one. ;)
In Singapore, the nail duos are S$43, while the blush palettes are S$65. This limited edition fashion collaboration will be available at the Tangs Orchard Nars boutique from 1 June 2013.
Love the blushes! Got myself Boys Don’t Cry but now I’m tempted by Rotonde as well
Hey Sara,
I am tempted but I think I shall resist (hope they sell out soon, so I won’t sumxixi, hehe!).
The blushes are gorgeous but I’m intimidated by their strong pigmentation. I’m afraid I would get clown cheeks.
Hi Jac,
They’re so pigmented-gorgeous but I know exactly what you mean!
oooh can’t wait!!! Sharplines is love=)))))))))))))
Hi Wickermoss,
They aren’t really shades that I gravitate towards but the combinations are quite unique!
