Candle lovers will be pleased to know that Yankee Candle has opened 3 stores here in Singapore.
The candles from this American brand have been available for some time now at major department stores such as Tangs and Takashimaya but I’m sure fans of the brand would love to explore a space dedicated to the products.
Located at Great World City (#03-33), Jem (#01-14) and Velocity@Novena Square (#02-41), the stores offer a wide selection of scented candles, tarts and reed diffusers, as well as fragrance-related accessories. The prices are fairly reasonable and range from S$4.90 for votives to S$49.90 for large vase candles. When I was at the Novena Square store, some were 20-50% off.
I bought Peppermint Bark, a chocolate peppermint scent. It’s ok but I don’t love it – foody fragrances aren’t really for me, though I love choc-mint as an edible treat.
Special thanks to Kim and Amy from whom I discovered that the brand had arrived here. :)
Oh joy! JEM is near my place. I love Yankee Candles, I don’t literally burn a hole in my pocket buying these. I like food scents too, too cloying in my opinion. Right now I have Mandarin Cranberry and Lotus Water.
Hi Jac,
Happy shopping! I hear that Jem is a retail space of makeup and skincare galore! :D I might go back to take a look at the blue one that reminds me of Crabtree & Evelyn La Source (can’t remember the name).
Hi dear, discount till when? Love the candles! :)
Hello Apple!
I’m not sure but it’s ongoing. Happy shopping! :)
My first visit at jem yankee candle. Too bad no price tag on the products. Everytime have to ask the prices.
Hi Shirley,
Sorry to hear that. That’s such an inconvenience. You should suggest that they tag the products or the shelves. :)
Heys! there’s another one open in Parkway Parade now =D
Hi Sianne,
Thank you for the heads up! :)
Hi, do you have candles that burns just for an hour? please revert – thank you.
Hi Christina,
I’m not sure; do check with the store.
Do they sell candle warmers?
Hi Iris,
I’m not sure but they do have an extensive range of accessories. :)
Iris, they do.. There’s the electric one that looks like an olden kerosene lamp but can only be used with the large jar candles.. They also have the tea light types that melts scented wax much like those used to diffuse aromatherapy essential oils.
Thank you for sharing, Transmo! I’m looking for a long lighter, myself; wonder if they carry those…
