Butter London Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquer Vernis in Broody Nail Swatch

I’ve worn Broody for more than a week and love the depth of this raspberry crème, as well as the quick shine it offers with just two coats, as seen in the photo above.

It doesn’t have an ultra-laminated appearance on my nails probably because of my nail ridges but it becomes glossier and is more opaque with three coats (see the first photo in this post). I did not use a topcoat in both photos but you can imagine how much shinier the effect would be, with one.

I particularly like the self-levelling quality of this pigmented polish and how it smooths out my nail ridges, making them look more even. It doesn’t fade easily and keeps its richness and shine over the days, thanks to its shock-resistant polymer technology. It does chip gently as time passes but that’s par for course with the many varnishes I use (aka chore bane!).

And speaking of broody…

Expectant ladies: You will be glad to know that this is a 7-free formula; an excellent choice if you want to polish your nails during pregnancy. ;)

In Singapore, this nail lacquer retails at S$24 at Sephora stores island-wide.

sharing a secret related to nails ! Shh ! Actually when I’m feeling down , the first thing that comes to my mind isn’t chocolates or musics . It is anything to do with nails . Be it nail polish swatches or the nail arts pictures being posted on Instagram . They are not just an inspiration but also a soothing sort of therapy for me to look at them and unknowingly smile and feel great in an instant . Well I’m sure someone in this universe share the same thoughts as me , so how awesome will it be if I could win the set of polish and let me take the chance to do some creations with it and share it so hopefully I can be the one bringing the joy to the great minds that think alike :)

  • shobha says:

It is essential to take extra care of your nails when nail polish is used on a daily basis. To avoid brittle nails; eating healthy, taking care of cuticles and trimming nails help nails to grow strong :)

Omg this sounds so AMAZEBALLLLLS! This would be great for when one travels to a cold country cause the last time I went to Korea during winter, I painted my nails on my own (and I used brands from like The Face Shop and OPI) and they cracked on the 3rd day T_T I’m thinking it’s due to the cold weather.

Hey Mag! Thanks for the makeup reviews, i really enjoyed reading about it. i learn smth new all the time. so i want to share smth with you this time. My nail cuticles are always getting damaged so a method i always use is soak my fingers in warm water for 5minutes and then push back the cuticles using an orange stick. Mix 3 tbsp of lotion and 1 tbsp of olive oil and heat it up for 30sections. Apply on your cuticles and cover your fingers with some form of glove and leave it overnight! it works quite well for me, hope this is informative for u!
