After years of quiet existence, Origins Singapore has surprised the local beauty market with the launch of its new flagship boutique that encourages exploration, echoing the brand’s ethos to “Never Stop Discovering”.
Located at ION Orchard (B3-55/56)—at a vantage position that’s immediately within sight from the escalator that descends from the Orchard MRT station level—this new standalone store showcases the brand’s ingredients harvested from nature, and their journey into becoming key components of the products.
The cosy store is charmingly decorated to reflect this journey.
An elaborate essential oil set-up reveals the exact scents that go into popular Origins products.
A mask wall displays the brand’s well-loved face masks.
A working sink at the centre of the store allows customers to play with the wash-off products.
A clear improvement from decorative dummy sinks that don’t work!
The product sample wall, lined with glass jars containing sample sachets and vials, gives consumers the opportunity to select and test products at home before purchasing.

I’ve used quite a few Origins products over the years (including their delightfully tingly peppermint-scented lip colours which are no longer available here, unfortunately) and am glad they now have a more prominent presence.
