Another treat is a collectible pink/red camellia bag charm stamped with the brand’s interlocking Cs. As with similar Chanel trinkets in the past, this piece of acrylic accessory is well-made and feels sturdy.
To celebrate Chinese New Year, you might also be offered a tasty fortune cookie ensconced in a black-and-cream favour pillow box, sleekly embossed with the Chanel logo. The inspirational notes tucked inside naturally relate to the brand.
I was recently at a Chanel Beauty boutique (the one within The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands), and had purchased a birthday present for a friend, along with something for myself. 😏
If I hadn’t requested the gift-wrapping service, I would’ve missed the hidden feature of the heavy wrapping paper: The reverse side—the part the product is wrapped in—is emblazoned with tiny gold snowflakes and the Chanel logo. What a delight to discover when the present is opened! 😍
