Make Up Store Microshadow in Sun Breeze is one of my favourite neutral eye shadows. A creamy pale yellow beige base with sparkling multi-coloured and white-silver shimmer scattered through the pot, its charm lies in the fact that the base is almost translucent once applied and instead, allows the sparkle to take centrestage, catching the light in the most amazing manner.
At certain angles, it has a lovely, neutral sheen that complements lid colours; at others, it twinkles to gorgeous, shimmery effect.
I love that it looks fantastic with almost every colour and that it imparts such diamond scattered shimmer that veers on glitter, without the garishness and tackiness of the latter. For someone who is partial to shimmer (me!), this eye shadow is damn near perfect.A point to note: Light-handed application will give subtle sparkle. Slightly heavier application will impart pretty sheen with glimmer, while heavy-handed application will cause the yellowness to show up and dull the shimmer.
At S$25 for an eye shadow the size of a MAC Cream Colour Base, this sparkly wonder is certainly value for money!
