EOTD | Jill Stuart Seductive Eyes in Sensual Fairy

As beautiful as this palette looks, I’m not terribly fond of it because the silver is a tad too glittery for me, although it creates a pretty sparkle on the eye.

In addition, the purple is quite a red-purple; liable to give rabbit eyes. As such, I often temper it with a cool-toned purple. For this purpose, I like using Shiseido Hydro Powder Eye Shadow in Violet Visions or Shiseido Integrate Eye Color Pencil in VI541 as a base – their cool tones neutralise the warm tones of the Sensual Fairy purple somewhat.

That said, I absolutely love the silvered brown with its complex pewter and taupe tones…and multicoloured shimmer! This is a unique shade that ought to be available in a single. I especially like it over a dark brown eye liner.

Purples really do flatter Asian skintone and Asian eyes. This is honestly an easy palette to use, if you don’t mind the redness of the purple or are willing to work a little to tone it down. :)
