Stila makes for nice makeup memories and this is particularly poignant, now that its presence in Singapore is waning. There are conflicting reports about whether it will pull out of the country but with its low-key marketing, it may very well retire quietly. This makeup pouch was a gwp a few years back. I like it because it has a slit that keeps tissue or other flat items in the front and a zippered compartment that holds more fragile items at the back. The main compartment zips with Stila’s signature star made of brushed silver.
It is well-made and looks like something one would buy, rather than receive free. This high-quality marked many of Stila’s gwps in its early years here. Especially pleasing is the print: delightful images of Stila girls (Asian and Caucasian) and Stila’s star products grace the surface of the makeup case. The brand’s eyeshadow/blush in the silver cardboard packaging, lip gloss in the silver squeeze tube packaging, Lip Glaze (arguably Stila’s best-seller), All Over Shimmer Powder, Convertible Colors, Creme Bouquet Eau de Parfum, as well as a few Stila brushes, are printed on the pouch.
How many of these items do you remember or still use? :)
