MAC Upstarts

September 7, 2009

Cheeky, uppity, out-of-the-gate and ahead of the game, Upstarts live in their own perfect little worlds! Stylishly clear makeup bags, each containing the magic miniature matrix required for gone-in-sixy-seconds travel action.

I’ve loved the Try-On Pacs from their very first incarnation (opaque white packaging) to their latest stylish form (transparent chic). Zippered see-through bags filled with delectable makeup and skincare goodness, these choice sets of full-sized products paired with generous miniatures are attractively-priced.

Upstarts is MAC’s latest collection of these travel packs. Trendy and functional, each of these four sets is a joy to look at and to use.

Flawless (S$97): Two regular-sized Mineralize face products, Mineralize SatinFinish SPF 15 Foundation in your choice of shade, and Mineralize SkinFinish in Soft & Gentle, and two complementary MAC skincare products, Cleanse Off Oil Tranquil, and Charged Water in Revitalizing Energy, each in promotional sizes.

Lined and Lashed (S$45): A complementary set of Zoomlash, Prep + Prime Lash, and promo sizes of Pro Eye Makeup Remover and Nightsky Softsparkle Pencil.

Well Prepared (S$74): A skincare quartet that together create the perfect base. Includes regular sizes of Prep + Prime Skin, and Prep + Prime Translucent Powder, and promotional sizes of Cleanse Off Oil and Fix +.

Brightfully Light (S$134): An Asia-exclusive Lightful kit for UV-protected and radiant skin. Includes regular sizes of Ultracharge SPF25/PA+++ Foundation, Active Softening Lotion, Hydro-Charged SPF 30/PA++ Moisturizer and a promotional size of Foaming Creme Cleanser.

MAC Upstarts will be available exclusively at MAC Robinsons from 9 to 15 September 2009 and at other counters thereafter, while stocks last.

I actually liked the Well Prepared kit when i first saw it at MAC’s website. I’ve been meaning to try the Prep + Prime Translucent Powder, so i think it’s a really good deal. AT S$74, i dont think there’s much price difference if purchased online. =)

      Hi Jannah,

They are still available at Tangs but Soft & Gentle is out of stock, so you’d have to pick another product to replace it in the Flawless set.
