Reminiscent of Kosé Visée Blackish Forming Eyes in B-3, this palette contains a white, a blue-grey, a pale silver (a gel that can be used as a base or a topper for added radiance) and a black. The shadows are smooth and the shimmer refined, all making for a beautiful smokey eye that can be built up in intensity and sparkle.
The paler shades impart a veil of colour, while the grey and black are more pigmented – this allows the former to set off the latter beautifully. The deeper shades not only remind me of midnight with its coalescence of blue, black and grey shades, they also remind me of how black is not always black (makeup mavens know that there are many different shades of black out there).
