Shiseido Automatic Fine Eyeliners

Launched as part of the Shiseido Autumn 2010 collection, these liquid eyeliners are new additions to the Shiseido range of makeup. Made with a smudge-proof formula, they promise to deliver ‘intense, lustrous definition’. The line shine is quite evident upon application and they don’t dry mattely-dull, like some liquid liners are wont to do.

Made in Japan, these liners are tear and perspiration-resistant. The Japanese love their liquid liners and have some of the finest in the market (think Heroine Make and K-Palette), so I’m expecting these to perform well.

The convenient click-type pen packaging allows you to adjust the amount of product dispensed. The sleek black tube actually looks like a thinner version of the Calvin Klein Endless Light highlighting wand.

Like most liquid eyeliners today, the brush applicator allows you to draw as bold or fine a line as you desire. As you can tell from the swatches, these liners have a pretty shiny finish. Brown and black are regular liner shades but I appreciate the extra touch of glossy definition these have.

Each Automatic Fine Eyeliner has a retail price of S$52 and will be available at local counters from September 2010.
