Here is more information on the MAC & Marcel Wanders collection, MAC’s luxe/couture collection for 2010. Hailing from the Netherlands, Marcel Wanders is renowned for his edgy contemporary designs. He has transformed ordinary products into works of art and has done the same for makeup, with this collaboration with MAC.

TURNING MAKEUP INTO A WORK OF ART

M·A·C Cosmetics is widely recognized for its stylish, artistic, quirky and edgy collaborations whose partners run the gamut from the world of fashion and art to Hollywood and pop culture. It is no wonder that the latest partnership is with none other than legendary Dutch designer, Marcel Wanders. The two powerhouse brands are teaming up on a 2010 holiday luxe makeup collection that is bound to catch the attention of makeup addicts and design aficionados around the globe.

  • Martha – Golden champagne with pearl/frost (Frost)

  • Gesina – Red with slight pinkish undertones (Cream)

  • Catharina – Fuchsia (Cream)

  • Digna – Blackened red (Cream)

MAC & Marcel Wanders Lipglass (S$45)

  • Mary – Light gold

  • Beatrix – Golden nude

  • Aleydis – Fuchsia

  • Gertruyd – Blackened red

MAC & Marcel Wanders Sheer Mystery Powder (S$115)

  • Light Medium – Pale ivory

  • Medium Plus – Tan beige

MAC & Marcel Wanders False Lashes Mascara (S$30)

  • False Black

MAC & Marcel Wanders Air of Style Scent Concentrate (S$53) - Scent in a solid perfume formula

    Set to launch here in December 2010, this collection will only be available at MAC Ngee Ann City, MAC Tangs Orchard and MAC VivoCity.

      That is so gorgeous- I want the mystery powder simply for the case alone! The lipstick colours are lovely too.

      wow the packaging is so gorgeous! My favorite piece is the solid perfume.

      Don’t the glosses remind you of Benefit Ultra Shine Lipgloss packaging?

      Oh Mag, you are such an enabler! :P Everything looks pretty and more importantly, very wearable…..but for now, I’m holding still – I just finished with the Venomous Villains and Estee Lauder’s holiday collection, along with the Coach pouch GWP thing and am now saving up for the Guerlain holiday collection :D
      But the lipsticks from this collection are calling out to me! (I’m a big lipstick girl!)

        The prices are quite high. I guess some people will buy these for their design though. I personally like a couple of them. :)
