I recently played with Eye Palette in 02 À La Mode, one of the new eyeshadow palettes from The Body Shop’s limited edition Brush With Fashion collection.
The quad comprises four eyeshadow colours: 01 Minimalist White (a frosty white), 02 Prêt-A-Pink (a frosty cherry blossom pink), o3 Futuristic Silver (an almost-metallic greyed silver) and 04 Little Black Dress (a matte black). The set also includes a matte black eye pencil.
Together with Illuminating Face Base in 01 Apricot Glow as a base, Tailored Cheek Tint in 01 Hot Pink on my cheeks and lips and Hi-Shine Lip Treatment in 01 Pink Cream over the tint on my lips, I created three quick looks with this palette.
Eye 1: The black pencil smudged on the lid, the silver over the black base, the black smoked upwards, the white buffed from socket indent to brow. The black pencil on 3/4 of the lower lash line topped with the black, the silver in the inner corner. A classic smokey eye that is super easy to create.
Eye 2: The pink on the lid blended up to the socket indent, the white from socket indent to brow. The silver and white on the lower lash line, with a hint of the pink. A clean and fresh look that works well with single eyelids/monolids. The cherry blossom pink goes well with the lip and cheek colours! :)
Eye 3: The pink on the inner half of the lid, the silver on the inner half of the lid, the white in the centre of the mobile lid; blended from socket indent to brow. The silver and white on the lower lash line. A fun but soft look that wouldn’t be out of place at the office.
Hope this gives you some ideas on how to use the palette! ;)
