This March, Crabtree & Evelyn introduces its Floral Fragrance Collection, a delightfully feminine collection comprising fragrances and bath and body products in modern single-note scents.
The floral bouquet not only showcases the brand’s new fragrance, Lily, it also introduces revamped versions of its Lavender and Rosewater scents and features its Iris fragrance that was launched last year.
What is special about this selection of skin-pampering lovelies? Well, for one thing, the new packaging is adorned with watercolour botanical designs evocative of the vibrancy and colour of an English garden in full bloom…very pretty!
In addition, the new bath/shower gels, along with the body creams/lotions, are formulated with a custom blend of English flower extracts (elderflower, magnolia, peony) to soothe and moisturise the body. Those with sensitive skin will be happy to know that all the body care products in this collection are free of parabens, phthlates, propylene glycol and mineral oil.
Lily
Calling to mind a beautiful spring morning in fresh-scented woods, this sparkling light green floral fragrance features a perfect single accord of lily of the valley surrounded by dewy greens, velvety mosses, and notes of hyacinth and ylang ylang.
Lavender
Crafted with a blend of the loveliest lavender grown in Europe, the uplifting and aromatic Lavender captures the refreshing spirit of summer in the countryside and the lavender harvest in Europe.
Rosewater
With some of the oldest rose gardens in England as inspiration, the classic Rosewater fragrance invokes the elegant essence of the hundred petal rose, a coveted scent through the centuries that is as captivating now as ever. This timeless fragrance features a blend of rose, violet, peony, fresh green foliage, and musk accords.
Iris
Inspired by a single, glorious bloom, Iris is prized for centuries by royalty and nobility, and featured as a prominent favourite of Renaissance perfumers. Iris is created with the finest classic Iris rhizome – orris root – which is aged to perfection, and then surrounded by soft velvety accords of violet and jasmine.
According to the staff I spoke to at the Ngee Ann City Crabtree & Evelyn store, the new Lavender scent is a sweeter version of its older, sharper self, while the new Rosewater scent is a softer take on the previous one. She also emphasised that the new Lily scent is completely different from the brand’s Lily of the Valley fragrance.
