Too Faced Cop a Teal and Label Whore (Petals to The Metal)

Thanks to Kas who discovered Cop a Teal via Iris, I went to Sephora to check it out…and promptly succumbed to its beauty.

A rich teal with a smokey edge, this terrific teal will be frequently caressed by my makeup brushes! ;)

I like to pair Cop-a-Teal with Label Whore (now renamed Petals to the Metal).

The latter is a gorgeous complex multi-chrome shadow with brown, plum, green tones and multi-coloured  reflects – I love this shade, despite its bruisey tones.

Both these silky shadows are richly pigmented and a joy to use; they’re certainly worth taking a look if you like such colours. :)

The pretty flower compacts are reminiscent of Korean makeup packaging. They seem to replace the earlier round cases. This packaging change made me think of the much-older (original?) Too Faced shadows which were once in round and square cases with cheeky face images atop the transparent lids. What a far cry from what is available now!

Pictured above are the Too Faced duos in another variation of packaging – a black square compact with the print of a female outline on the clear lid. Ah, makeup memories!
