Skin79 Vital BB Cream Launch

Here is Vital BB Cream, the latest BB cream from Skin79. Dressed in the shade of a juicy mandarin, the cheery vibrant orange bottle will brighten up any makeup dresser. :)

Its launch coincides with the lunar new year and how aptly too, for the mandarin orange is not only a traditional fruit for this festive season, it also sounds like the word ‘gold’ in Cantonese (kum).

More accurately named Skin79 Vital Beblesh Balm SPF 50+ PA+++, this product kickstarts the Skin79 BB cream revolution with its increased SPF, which is the highest sun protection within the Skin79 range.

It is also fortified with the Vital-V Complex which comprises Vitamins A, C, E and F to – take a deep breath now – nourish, moisturise, firm and brighten the skin…as well as give it anti-oxidant protection.

Like the brand’s best-selling Hot Pink BB Cream, it is suitable for oily/combination skin types.

Remember Roald Dahl’s classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in which the inimitable Willy Wonka conceals golden tickets in his chocolate bars?

Like Mr W, Skin79 has hidden golden tickets…within the new BB cream’s boxes. You’re not going to win a trip to the Skin79 factory but if you’re lucky, you will receive a hamper of Skin79 products. ;)

There are 9 tickets altogether: The grand prize is a year’s supply of Skin79 products worth more than S$500, while 8 consolation prizes give each winner a year’s supply of Skin79 BB creams.

This BB cream retails at S$49.90 and can be found at Watsons where Skin79 is exclusively carried. Every bottle also comes with a lovely set of Skin79 red packets.

This promotion will last till 29 February 2012.

ah I have seen some ad’s for this. Very curious about this. Loved the pink BB Cream but left it for the Etude House Mineral BB Cream. Will definitely try this one out :)!

can’t wait to hear your review on it!

How good is this vital orange compare to the hot pink? I am searching for a good coverage (sun damaged dark spots) yet not sticky feeling (i have oily skin). Any recommendation? Thx!! :)

      Hi Jenny,

I’ve tried it a couple of times and find it quite light. It oxidises over some time but as a whole, it will remain somewhat fair in shade. It doesn’t have a sticky feel but I do oil up after some time (a gentle blot more than suffices to deal with this problem). I prefer the Hot Pink in terms of shade but this isn’t too bad (if you’re fair) as it controls sebum production to some extent.
