BeautyAsia 2012 Haul – China Glaze, Deborah Lippmann, Misa, Nfuoh, Orly and Zoya~!

Thanks to the excellent prices that were offered, I hauled happily at this year’s BeautyAsia trade fair. Not only did I manage to stock up on nail accessories and my favourite quick-dry topcoat from Poshé, I also purchased:

  • China Glaze Optical Illusion and Liquid Crystal

These 3-D glitter polishes from the Prismatic Chroma Glitters collection have a dash of holographic effect that enhances their multi-faceted quality.

  • Deborah Lippmann Don’t Tell Mama, Razzle Dazzle, Wicked Game and Hit Me With Your Best Shot

In varying finishes, these appealed to me on different levels. I couldn’t resist the teal depth of Don’t Tell Mama, the dense glitter in Razzle Dazzle, the multi-chrome of Wicked Game and the smooth gunmetal of the polish named for Pat Benatar’s hit. :)

  • Misa It’s You! and The Great Green Whatsit

One has intensity of colour with an occasional flash, while the other is a subtle duo-chrome.

  • NfuOh 53

An ocean-blue gel base chock full of multi-coloured flecks, this lovely flakie polish will spiff up any polish in a jiffy!

  • Orly Space Cadet and Galaxy Girl

I’ve had a taste of these two with MAC Formidable (I love this one so much that I think I only have less than half a bottle left) and MAC Mean & Green. Even so, I couldn’t help but pick up these gorgeous Orly Cosmic FX duo-chromes.

  • Zoya Chloe, Maisie and Marina

Two flakies from Zoya (one warm, one cool) and a steely grey with a touch of blue.

  • Zoya Izzy, Kissy, Noel, Twila, Holly and Rina

From the Gems & Jewels Holiday 2011 collection, these rich complementary hues of metallic shimmers and glitter glazes can be worked in a plethora of combinations! ♥

OMG! you really did haul! those are lovely nail polishes!

have u tried Seche Vite the quick dry topcoat? if you did, what’s ur thought on it and how does it fare against Poshe? :D

      Hi Plue,

A colourful haul too! It makes me smile with its cheery shades. :D

I prefer Poshe to Seche Vite because the latter can get gunky. Somehow, the Poshe version seems to pair well with the formula of the polishes that I use.

  • plue says:

oooh thanks for the info! ^_^

    • makeupmag says:

You’re welcome, Plue. :) Try both and let me know what you think. Seche Vite is very popular with the Singapore Airlines flight attendants, from what I’ve heard.

Oohhh that’s a lovely haul Mag! How much were the deborah lippmann? :P
I use Seche Vite, but together with the Restore. :)

  • wickermoss says:

nice haul mag!!! :)) love Seche Vite but might try this poshe!

  • mandy says:

Yup it’s called Seche Restore. Works great with getting other ‘dried-out’ polishes to the right consistency as well. :)

    • makeupmag says:

      Hi Mandy,

Thanks. I’ve never thought of restoring topcoats! I threw out my Seche Vite bottle a long time ago. I’m currently using Zoya Renew; I should try it when my topcoats turn gunky. :)

      Hi Milktea,

It was actually an unassuming event at a cold convention hall, haha! The wares, on the other hand… ;)

  • Meow says:

Gorgeous totally hot! I remembered the great deal last year!! Looking at the haul, it must have been a even better deal!!!

    • makeupmag says:

      Hi Meow,

Yes, I remember last year too. :) This year’s deals were similar, just that the variety was wider!
