Here’s a peek at Dior Vernis in 579 Plaza, a striking hot pink nail lacquer whose name was inspired by the legendary Hotel Plaza Athénée situated near the House of Dior on Avenue Montaigne in Paris.
Almost-neon in finish, this polish in a smooth crème formula is quite opaque and almost a single-coater. When I saw the coral undertone in my press sample bottle of Plaza, I was rather surprised. Thanks to the splash of warmth mixed with the fuchsia, it’s a somewhat special shade to me – in my experience, the more common hot pinks seem to veer cool…then again, I’m no nailphile. :P
Here’s Plaza on my daughter’s floral romper. I thought the colour looked beautiful set against it. ♥
Three other nail varnishes (257 Incognito, 537 Riviera, 659 Lucky) join Plaza to form colour block complements to the new Dior Addict Extreme Lipsticks. In Singapore, they are priced at S$37 and will be available from April 2012.
