Shiseido Spring/Summer 2012

Here’s a look at Shiseido’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection which comprises seven new Shimmering Rouge lipsticks and three Shimmering Cream Eye Colors.

The lipstick shades are stronger in colour pay-off, welcome additions to the current range.

L-R: BR317 Butterscotch, RD320 Temptress, PK415 Sorbet, RS619 Venus, RD718 Sugarplum, PK214 Opal, OR316 Mango

The cream eyeshadows are mainly pastels, though the blue and the bronze swatch slightly deeper in tone than they look in the pot.

L-R: BL214 Ice, OR313 Sunshower, PK214 Pale Shell

The three colours draw inspiration from Dick Page’s photography. Sunshower was inspired by a photo of sunlight dancing on water, while Pale Shell was inspired by the shine of a whorled seashell. Ice was inspired by a photo of broken Arctic ice, whose fragility seemed to speak to Page.

In Singapore, the lipsticks are S$43, while the cream shadows are S$32. The new lippies and shadows will all be part of the brand’s permanent makeup range.

the pink and bronze cream eyeshadows look really nice together :) love the lip colors in butterscotch and sugarplum too. the lipsticks apply really smooth and moist but there is a bit too much shimmer left behind as it wears off which wasn’t so good for me.

      Hi Jan,

They’re wearable but I’m more inclined to the deeper hues from last year. Venus looks gorgeous, though and Sorbet is so girly!

Wow, love the lipsticks! I’m really liking strong coloured lipsticks at the moment.
