Shu Uemura Face Architect Smooth Fit Fluid Foundation – Revised (Lowered!) Price

Good news for those of you who have been wanting to try Shu Uemura Smooth Fit Fluid Foundation – in an effort to allow more people to experience this popular foundation, the brand has decided to lower its price in Singapore.

Reduced from S$75 to S$65, this discovery price is effective from 1 May 2012. Happily, this revised price is permanent.

Containing 100% mineral pigments, this foundation promises to impart a refreshing dewy finish with its high concentration of water molecules, as well as protect the skin with active skincare ingredients. According to the brand, its new ‘Blend and Fit’ technology not only boasts spherical powders for surface smoothness, it also ensures a shine-free appearance and allows for buildable matte coverage while delivering a fade-proof performance.

Here’s what Maz, Shu Uemura Singapore’s Elite Makeup Artist and Beauty Trainer, has to say about this product: “Shu Uemura Smooth Fit Fluid Foundation is every girl’s dream foundation. It provides the ultimate camouflage in a flash. Say goodbye to stroke marks and skin imperfections. Get the flawless coverage to last all day with no shine or fade whatever the weather outlook for the day.”

Sounds like something I’d have to try for these hot and humid days!

Here’s a Shu Uemura foundation application how-to to help you with applying this foundie. :)

Ooh that’s good! Will stock up next time I’m over as I love this foundation. Long lasting, no shine, and it doesn’t have a pink or yellow tint to it.

      Hi Sam,

It’s quite a price cut, isn’t it? :) Glad it’s permanent. I can’t remember if I’ve used this before but thank you for your feedback; now I’m looking forward to trying it!

i wonder if it’s because japanese brands have had to deal with radiation concerns from customers in the last year. a certain japanese brand i frequent has been having endless generous promotions, which i’ve not seen prior to the disaster. sadly, with so many other (expanding) options available, i personally think there’s probably some impact to japanese beauty brands and the association in charge should better address these concerns

      Hi Stella,

I made a mistake in my post earlier on; this price revision only applies to Singapore. I do get where you’re coming from, though – it makes perfect sense, what with radiation concerns and the like. Now you’ve made me curious about the brand you mentioned! ;)

Will you be looking at Chanel Perfection Lumiere? I’m very interested to know what you think:)

      Hey Chevvie,

I don’t know – I’ve quite a few foundies right now and honestly, I’m happy just going out with sunscreen these days (always a fave – Clarins UV HP in Neutral). I shall look out for it, though! :D

Am gonna try this out soon! Hopefully it can stand the humid weather

    • makeupmag says:

      Hi Cheryn,

I hope it works for you. The weather is sticky warm these days – boo! I’ve found that blotting after every layer of skincare and makeup helps + a good primer, of course. :)
