Part of the Estée Lauder Pure Color Vivid Shine collection for Fall 2012, these nail polishes have a beautiful depth of colour and shine that underscores the name of this range.
Formulated with True Vision™ technology to transform ordinary color and make it extraordinary.
– Estée Lauder
As with the rest of the Pure Color range, they are formulated with the brand’s trademarked True Vision™ technology for colour fidelity.
Promising ‘high-pigment, high-impact brilliance’, they are testimony to Tom Pecheux’s deft steering in the direction of intense shades, indubitably apt for the autumn season.
Black Turquoise might seem like a common black crème at first glance but it really is a blackened teal.
It appears different under various lighting and is an entirely chic and modern hue.
Purple Velvet is a striking amethyst infused with copper shimmer.
A must-have for purple lovers!
Both of my press pieces dry quickly and last for about four days before chipping. Not bad, considering the amount of washing and other general chores that I do. Even more impressive is that the nail tips on my right hand (which I use less frequently than my left) barely show colour wear-off.
Already available at the Estée Lauder counters, these limited edition varnishes retail at S$26 in Singapore. Do note that the Pure Color Vivid Shine collection is only available at Isetan Scotts, Takashimaya and Tangs Orchard.
If you’re hoping to purchase from Tangs Orchard, I was told that the collection will only be available from 17 October 2012, when the brand moves to its new space at the revamped Tangs Beauty Hall.
Black Turquoise seems like one of those nice-to-own shades to throw on and match all attires / events. Lovely shade!
Hey Sara,
Thanks for coming by, despite being so busy! ;) It’s a pretty creme that suits many looks, I agree~!
