Laboratoires Filorga in Singapore

If you love anti-ageing skincare, you might be pleased to know that Laboratories Filorga has finally arrived on our shores.

The brainchild of French aesthetic doctor and cellular biology expert, Monsieur Michel Tordjman, Laboratoires Filorga previously developed several biological products able to fight in situ the signs of ageing. Some of them include the mesotherapy range containing the brand’s patented poly-revitalising complex NCTF®, glycolic peels and injectable dermal fillers.

Recognised as an expert in the field, Laboratoires Filorga is approved in more than 40 countries by dermatologists, aesthetic doctors and plastic surgeons.

Inspired by aesthetic medicine, the brand promises visible results with its Medi-Cosmetique® range…without going the invasive route. I’m not entirely sure but I think it belongs to the equivalent of the Japanese ‘quasi-drug’ category where active ingredients need to be vetted as medicine.

All products of this anti-ageing line contain Chronospheres®, nanospheres that work like ‘injections without needles’, penetrating the deeper layers of the skin more efficiently through non-ionic diffusion. They are formulated with high molecular weight hyaluronic acid for rapid re-plumping and long-lasting hydrating/healing effect, as well as NCTF® – a poly-revitalising complex with anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, coenzymes and nucleic bases to stimulate cells into regeneration and retard dermal rigidification (which causes skin creases).

These ingredients are identical to the ones utilised in mesotherapy and optimise the activity of fibroblasts, the key cells of the dermis.

Foam Cleanser (S$41/150 ml) – An anti-ageing foaming wash formulated with an ultra-gentle surfactant of plant origin that dissolves sebum, make-up and pollution traces. It also hydrates the skin and protects it from free radicals with its white lily ingredient.

Hydra-Filler Pro-Youth Boosting Moisturizer (S$94/50 ml) – A moisturiser containing a high concentration of extra-pure hyaluronic acid for deep skin rehydration. It has a micro-filling effect on dehydration lines, as well.

Sleep and Peel Resurfacing Night Cream (S$110/50 ml) – A night cream that renews cells while you sleep, restoring your skin’s radiance and softness.

Meso-Mask (S$79/50 ml) – An anti-wrinkle brightening mask that treats wrinkles and lends radiance to the skin.

These products are supplemented by Anti-Ageing Mist (S$110/100 ml), a fragranced facial spray imbued with skincare benefits.
