A cheery watermelon pink with fine gold shimmer, this beautiful piece from Guerlain‘s new lipgloss line promises intense colour and high shine, as well as a plumping effect.
The doe-foot applicator isn’t out of the ordinary but it lifts the product easily and quickly defines the lip contours.
Containing mineral and botanical oils, the crème has a pleasant hydrating sensation. Unlike some lipglosses that sit on the lips like an obvious barrier, it seems to act like a moisturising veil. Its formula is substantial yet lightweight…it’s like a plush gel, if that makes sense. I like that it isn’t a full-on heavy gloss but has the pigmentation of one.
Weightless and non-sticky, it glides on comfortably too. Despite the silkiness, it doesn’t slip or fade easily, lasting pretty well for a gloss with the level of emollience it carries.
Like most Guerlain products, it is scented and bears a light floral fragrance.
In Singapore, this lipgloss retails at S$42.
