A surprise delivery of Watsons Fresh Baby Wipes arrived at my home yesterday.
To my delight, the mundane packaging of old has been revamped – the new wipes are now housed in a cheery yellow pack decorated with placid-looking animals.
Made in Singapore, these alcohol-free wipes are dermatologically-tested and do not carry fluorescent additives…God knows why this is mentioned at all on the packaging; they are made for babies, no?! Formulated with aloe vera extract and Vitamin E, they carry a sweet floral scent.
I happened to be packing my stash and cleaning my beauty space, so I put them to the test immediately. As with their predecessors, these soft sheets are moist without being drippy, quickly picking up dust in between drawers. I also removed lipstick swatches on the back of my hand with them. I have yet to determine their prowess with waterproof products, though the waxy crayon stains on my daughter’s cheek took a little more effort to clean off.
At just S$2 for 70 sheets, they’re certainly worth a try. I’m definitely picking up a few packs on my next trip to Watsons!
And because I love baby wipes so much, I thought they deserved an ode to them. ;)
oh nice! are these better than the previous baby wipes with the pink wrapping? I believe those have 90 sheets in a pack. I used to use them till I realized they repacked or something and I had trouble getting single sheets out – they are all folded together. =( these look cheery though! :D
Hi Yvonne,
I never tried those but the ingredient list seems the same. :) There’s a batch out currently in Miffy packaging (90 sheets): http://instagram.com/p/xPFAwMCr8f/
I know what you mean re: the folded pieces!
:)
The packaging is very cute. I like to buy wipes with cute packaging :D
