Kosé Esprique Precious Twinkle Story Collection Photos

October 15, 2010

Here are more photos of Esprique Precious Twinkle Story Collection, the brand’s holiday gift box of makeup joy!

Adding to the charm of this beautiful set is a sticker seal that has a feather printed on it.

A booklet attached to the box has photos of the products and the Esprique Precious model (I don’t know who she is but Iris probably does!). The theme centres on snow and stars.

The booklet also includes specific instructions on creating different looks with this set. (Click to enlarge)

The pans have to be detached from the plastic casing and fitted into the palette (they have small dollops of glue on their backs to help them adhere to the bottom of the case).

Here is the exquisite-looking palette. When I move the palette under the light, the holographic insets seem to twinkle and the reflective stars have a glimmering effect – I love how they appear to dim and brighten as I shift the case! ♥

This is how the palette looks when the pans have been fitted in.

The pencil easily gives a dark and defined line. The gel cream is very shimmery and reminds me of the Beauté de Kosé Eye Fantasists in effect – it’s very sparkly! It doesn’t last well on its own though. The quad colours are soft and shimmery. Although the colours aren’t very intense, they aren’t super sheer either. I’d peg them as having a semi-sheer to medium finish.

Here they are, blended over the golden-beige gel cream.

Like many of the Japanese glosses that I own, this lipgloss is sheer, with sparkly shimmer.

The nail polish has a subtle prismatic flash under the light, thanks to its multi-coloured micro-shimmer.

The lovely quartet, once again!

It is very pretty! It can be used like a Shimmer Brick too, with a swipe across all the colours. :)

Thank god I was searching for this years Esprique collection!! I can’t wait tell it’s sold online. of course living in the states…we are the last to get our hands on anything :( Is the gloss sticky like last years? I hope not but am thinking it is…oh well I just want the collection for the palette!

      Hi Zoie,

Sorry for my late reply – I wanted to swatch the gloss again before giving you a reply but I was caught up with other stuff and only just got round to doing it!

It is a tad sticky but not overtly so. I can’t compare it to last year’s gloss because I’d given that as a gift to a friend. The spatula spread it out easily, if that helps. It does have very beautiful sparkles that glimmer in the light! :)
