A good friend of mine was in London recently and I had a small shopping list for her which included a few items from the Topshop AW10 Heavy Duty Collection.
I’d asked for Topshop Lipgloss in Gloom (£7.50), a sheer berry gloss with a toffee vanilla scent.
It contains rainbow sparkles that show up under the light and it applies smoothly without being too sticky. Although it isn’t pigmented, I do like the soft/bitten look it imparts.
I’d also asked for Topshop Bold Liner/Chunky Crayon in Graphite (£7), a fat eyeliner pencil.
A burnished pewter, this fatty pencil will make a nice base for some of my smokey shades, especially the browns.
The gold is a little too much for me but I think it will be subsumed by darker shades.
In addition, she’d purchased Topshop Eyeshadow Duo in Thunder (£9), a sturdy pewter case of two beautiful and complementary shadows in a teal and a gunmetal.
Lastly, my dear friend picked up Topshop Nails in Lead (£6), a complex blackened grey swirled through with metallic plum and green shimmer. I had expected it to be a pure leaden grey, so this was a complete surprise!
Total haul damage? Only £29.50 (≈ S$63)! ;)
