New to Canmake’s diverse blush range is Cheek & Cheek, pretty blush duos in bright and cheery hues.
There are four Cheek & Cheek duos:
- 01 Candy Flower
- 02 Rose Tiara
- 03 Gerbera Kiss
- 04 Love Blossom
As their names and product visuals indicate, they are based on a floral theme.
With their scallop-edged palettes and slightly raised pans, they look like distant – poorer – cousins of Jill Stuart Mixed Blush Compacts.
Canmake Singapore sent me press samples of these blushes and I was able to swatch them. They are pigmented and have an even satin finish, as you will see in the photos below.
The brand recommends that we layer them over the Canmake Cream Cheek cream blushes to make them last even longer (though I’m pretty sure they’d be good on their own). I’m looking forward to using them with Pinky Rose and Sweet Orange!
01 Candy Flower is a candy pink paired with a sorbet orange.
02 Rose Tiara is a pale pink paired with a sweet hot pink.
03 Gerbera Kiss is a deep peach paired with a rose pink.
04 Love Blossom is a soft pink peach paired with a deep rose coral.
The pans can be used singly or mixed/layered for a third shade to give more dimensional colour to the cheeks. Above are instructions from the brand on how to play with the duos.
Permanent to the Canmake blush family, they retail at S$18.90 at Watsons, John Little and BHG. I’m fairly certain new duos will join these in time to come!
