Canmake Cream Cheek

Canmake Cream Cheek

Cream Cheek, Canmake’s latest offering, has all the makings of a drugstore makeup star. It is not only affordable and compact, it also performs well and will satisfy a picky cream blush lover with its performance. Pigmented and smooth, it is easily comparable to similar higher-end products.

Cream Cheek is so popular locally that the displays at various Watsons stores have been emptied of many colours. This demand for them has no doubt been stoked by Iris‘s and Yumeko‘s positive reviews. ;) Thankfully, I was able to find the entire range at Watsons Parkway Parade (just look at the smeary display!).

Priced at S$17.90, they are now on offer at S$15.90 (I paid S$13.90 for mine using my Watsons Card rebate points). I hesitated between 01 Peach Dream and 03 Strawberry Whip but the latter proved to be too shimmery for me, so I eventually decided on the more muted former.

With a diameter that measures only 4.5 cm, Canmake Cream Cheek is a petite and extremely light  product. The packaging may feel cheap and insubstantial but the almost toy-like plastic faceted casing belies a pigmented product that wears and applies well.

I bought it! Sengkang’s Watsons only had two of 01 Peach Dream left! Well, now only one. :P Agreed, the two pink shades are ridiculously sparkly; one rub with my finger and it looked like I smashed a fairy. Love the texture!

YAY! I’m glad you found them, Nanashee. I love the way you described the copious shimmer…that poor fairy. :P

Mag, it’s here already! But… shimmer overload! So shimmery that I dunno if it’s work appropriate~

the texture is nice, blending is nice and well price tag not very high too! and i hardly see cream cheek colours that comes in 6 colours!

YAY Plue, it’s there! How much does it cost there? Tell me about the shimmer; it was a little too much for me, hee!

It’s rm43.90 if I am not mistaken, quite affordable, but the shimmer puts me off! How to buy? huhu~ can’t think of a good reason to own this becuz of the shimmer :P

That’s an okay price, Plue. Try 01? That one isn’t as shimmery as some of the rest.

      Hi Chloe,

I usually use my fingers but a sponge, as well as a synthetic brush, works too. :)

try to use together with Powder Cheeks. It give a more lasting effect and create a different shade too. They have added 2 more new colors, nos 10 & 11.
