Happy Birthday, Ettusais!

This year, Ettusais celebrates its 20th anniversary. The very first counter was launched on this date at Isetan Scotts.

The brand’s come a long way since its launch, offering acne-clearing solutions while infusing their products with touches of colour and cuteness…the Ettusais ducky exemplifying the latter. ;)

To mark the event, the brand invites customers to take a photo with the ducky at Isetan Scotts.

Present the picture to the counter with a birthday greeting and you will receive a little gift.

I made a quick purchase when I was at the counter and picked up Quick Fix Powder (S$28). This new piece is actually a back-up (I like it a lot!) – originally a limited edition product, it flew off the shelves when it was first launched here last year. The brand has since brought in quite a fair amount of stock for this blotting powder but I’m told that it remains a limited edition item. So do get yours before the stock runs out for good.

When I first learnt of the brand many years ago, I remember being very impressed with the then-innovative spatula-tip applicator on the Ettusais concealer wand. I thought it was a neat way to dispense the cream and more hygienic too, so appropriate for an anti-acne product.

Here are some Ettusais favourites over the years.

Happy 20th anniversary, Ettusais. Here’s to many more years!

I remember using this brand when i was in Uni many many years ago…i started out with the Day Protect Powder in the cute pink casing with its super soft marshmallow puff. Too bad it’s discontinued. :(

I’m going to get that BB cream soon! Read too many raves to pass up!

      Hi Pris! :)

So many lovely things gone to beauty heaven. There’re nice new things for us to try but I can’t help but feel twinges of regret, especially when products I love are discontinued.

I hope you like the BB cream as much as I do. Let me know what you think of it!
