Majolica Majorca Jewelling Eyes

May 24, 2009

Here is a closer – albeit tester-smudgy – look at Majolica Majorca’s new range of eyeshadows, Jewelling Eyes (S$27.50).

Top (left to right): VI782, RD784, PK785, GR780
Bottom (left to right): BL381, PK383, GD886, SV887

They aren’t particularly impressive (there is no exceptional shimmer or complexity of shade) but they do have the advantage of four complementary colours stored in one palette.

Iswii 美妆新闻台 has excellent swatches of all the Jewelling Eyes. I’m not sure why the swatches there show up so frostily/intensely; I could barely get any pigment from some of the pans.

Hm, some say it’s pigmented, but alot of ppl say it isn’t. I haven’t seen this palette yet in Malaysia, so have yet to test it out.

But from the looks of it, it does look boring. Sigh. I hope they come up with more exciting colours for autumn release though.

They aren’t very exciting but would be good for makeup rookies.

Autumn/Winter shades generally have more depth so like you, I’m looking forward to those! :)
