MAC Venomous Villains – Can You Guess Who They Are?

May 31, 2010

I’ve received news from MAC Singapore that the Venomous Villains collection featuring four Disney characters will arrive on our shores in late September! According to Women’s Wear Daily, this limited edition colour collection includes lipstick, lipgloss, blush and powder.

While MAC is keeping a cloak of secrecy over the collection for now, the official Venomous Villains video reveals a few familiar faces. I’m guessing that the four villains will be:

  • Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians
  • Doctor Facilier from The Princess and the Frog
  • Maleficient from Sleeping Beauty
  • The Queen from Snow White

What do you think? ;)

I’m certainly looking forward to this collection – and definitely interested in seeing how far MAC will go into incorporating the Disney theme into the line.

I’ll look for a red lipstick (perhaps cremesheen, or amplified creme?) – Disney princesses (and strangely enough, the villainesses too) always wear fantastic red lippies and MAC does some of the best reds (MAC Red, Russian Red, Dubonnet…) ; also it’ll be the perfect season for a red lip, with the cooler weather and the red apple from Snow White who can forget that, some kind of volumising mascara – for the wide eyed Disney princess look, the perfect rose blush, even an eye liner, perhaps?

So, all in all, perhaps a collection centred around classic make-up products that were the stuff of our little girl fantasies?
I hope they do good things with their packaging too, since they’ve upped the ante with the Liberty collection.

      Hi Tuggie!

I’m waiting for more official news on this line. I saw some photos and sadly, they look a little blah – almost like toy makeup for little girls. That said, I’m certainly there’re some reds in the collection, so you’d be pleased! I love how you visualised the line, by the way.

I’m guessing you already have Tint Toons, the last MAC collaboration with Disney. ;)

      Hi Kas,

The Princess and the Frog is a relatively new film! :D As for Sleeping Beauty, why have you not watched/read it?! Haha!
