Besides the Heavy Rotation eyeliners, Kiss Me Singapore also gave me four of its ‘HeviRote’ lipglosses to try. Available in 01 Vanilla, 02 Kiss, 03 Berry and 04 Honey, these glosses come in varying nude shades for the your-lips-but-better look or to complement a smokey eye. Weighing 7 grams, each lipgloss is encased in a minimalist, fuss-free plastic squeeze tube and comes with a brush-tip applicator. According to the brand, these ‘highly viscous’ glosses deliver ‘nude colour with vivid consistency’.
I opened Berry first, thanks to its seemingly subdued shade, a plum brown – a hue that I gravitate towards.
An interesting and much-appreciated feature of this lipgloss tube is its locking device. Whilst most lipglosses in squeeze tubes can overflow and result in a gunky mess when squashed, this receptacle has a locking mechanism to prevent such accidents. Turn the black neck to the left to allow product to be dispensed into its brush tip; turn it to the right to close off the flow. Genius!
Here is Berry, looking more sweet caramel than the plummy shade the tube promised. :P
Nonetheless, I am very happy with the ensuing result – a lovely nude that seems to bring life to my pale lips. Its neutral shade matches almost any eye/cheek makeup I use. The creamy texture, while a touch gunky, sits quite comfortably on the lips. It can be sticky (hair + breeze = no!) but it doesn’t bother me a lot. I like that the colour is opaque and shiny without being over the top. There is a foody scent to this gloss – a definite chocolate mocha scent, laced with a subtle berry. The synthetic brush is also quite firm, painting the lips with precision. Already I can tell it doesn’t have the tendency to splay (Bobbi Brown lipgloss brushes, I’m looking at you!).
S$16.90 each, Heavy Rotation Sexy Enamel Gloss, together with other Kiss Me products, can be found at Kawaii Corner located at Watsons stores.
Phew~ Finally!
I saw these at Watsons too! But I’m more interested in Kiss Me’s mascaras!
I recently read a few reviews on HOW wonderful their mascaras were!! Have you tried any before??

Hi Choo,
I’ve seen them but haven’t tried them. They are so beautiful to look at. I don’t like participating in online sprees though; thankfully, I have friends who travel, hehe!
