There was a sample bottle of Clinelle Purifying Toner in my Watsons 21st Anniversary beauty bag last year. Curious about it and wanting to try the samples in the bag before they expire, I started to use it on a regular basis. Before long, I was using it out of love for the product and not the compulsion to finish it.
Some toners can strip the skin of moisture, in their zeal to remove makeup residue. Others are so gentle that they do nothing to refresh or cleanse. Worse, they leave a gunky sensation on the skin.
So you can imagine how delighted I was to come across this toner which is gentle and effective at the same time. It feels like water with just an edge of invigoration. My skin looks clearer but it never feels tight and dry; I love how comfortable it is after the toner.
I planned to purchase the full size but was distracted the many new skincare items of 2010. I’m definitely turning back to this once I’ve used up most of my toner stash!
