OPI Nail Lacquer in Sparkle-licious

September 25, 2010

The Metro sale is on again and as with the last sale where I’d purchased Yodel Me On My Cell, the latest OPI collection is already available at the store. From the OPI Burlesque Collection for Winter/Holiday 2010, Sparkle-licious (S$23.55, before the 20% discount) is a riot of glitter, much like Mad As A Hatter.

Sparkle-licious over a black polish base

It has a dominance of fuchsia and gold glitter, with blue peeking through. Not quite a rainbow effect but  multi-coloured all the same. Like most OPI glitter polishes, this is somewhat gritty and will take a bit of effort to remove. It’s also quite loud…almost garish. But what the heck, it’s for the holiday season anyway, so bring on the bling! :D

I saw this & it is so BLING! Love it but it would be a pain to remove the glitters. I am lazy some more…

      Hey Farah,

It is quite a chore but it does last very long on the nails. ;)

Wow, talk about sparkle!! How do you remove that stuff from your nails?

      Hi Stav,

A normal nail polish remover does the job but it takes a while. :P

i love this! this is a replacement for RBL’s Locavore but getting it also made me go out and buy a bunch of glitters so i could make my own frankens. too bad the colors in the glitters leeched.

I’d love to see your frankens, Suzie!
