Review | Ettusais Cheek Color in PK6

A wearable soft pink, Ettusais Cheek Color in PK6 (S$29) comes in a little cylindrical case that conceals a round sponge applicator at its base.

According to Ettusais Singapore, this feature minimises the scratching and abrasion some cheek blush brushes can cause, aggravating cheek acne. I imagine that a brush whose bristles can be easily cleaned off on a tissue sheet would be more hygienic but the sponge puff is washable, which is a plus point.

Pliable and fairly comfortable on the skin, the puff surprised me with its even coverage.

The blush is on the sheer side at first swatch but it layers easily for a stronger finish. Added pressure as you swirl the puff will pick up more colour too. I like it best layered over a cream blush – because of its softness, it’s easy to avoid a heavy blush look.

I received this press sample with Ettusais Quick Fix Powder; it wears/layers well over the pressed powder. :)

This is so soft and pretty! I had honestly never thought about scratchiness causing cheek acne before…

      Hi Kris,

It wears well too – I’ve had it on the entire day today and there’s very little fading. :)
