True to its name, this clear polish gives my nails a glossy, jelly-like finish that makes them appear as if they’ve been freshly-painted. It dries incredibly quickly too – a huge plus point, given the fact that I am always having to nurse or guard my little one!
It preserves a pedicure for weeks, making my toenails look like they’ve just been lacquered. I won’t horrify you with a photo of my toes (somehow pedis often don’t look as nice as manis!) but when I met with my friends Sara and Monika some time back, both exclaimed at how new and fresh a 2½-week-old pedi of mine looked with this on.
I use my press sample consistently and love the laminated look it gives my tips and toes. Unfortunately, fine cracks will appear on my tips after a while. I never see them on my feet, so I’m attributing this to the amount of washing that I do and the water immersion I subject my hands to (I hand-wash all my delicates and Baby’s clothes).
Case in point: The holo nails that I did a few days back. See the cracks? They do make for a genuine crackle/shatter appearance, though! ;)
The unintentional crackle effect is better than Sally Hansen Mega Shine which literally lifts off my nails in complete pieces after a bit. Like the Ettusais, it is perfect on my toes. Poshe dries in a flash and doesn’t seem to have side effects but it doesn’t have the wet and shiny finish of the previous two. If you have any recs for a good top coat that’s shiny and lasting on a mani, do send them my way!

Sorry to hear that. I wonder if allowing the polish to dry completely before applying the top coat helps…

Let me know if it works! The shatter effect can actually be quite pretty; it recently cracked on my nails with a symmetrical design, haha! I still think it’s related to water immersion, though, so perhaps no swimming with it on?
