Lush finally opened its doors yesterday and the store – unsurprisingly – is quite an assault on the visual and olfactory senses, thanks to the vibrant colours and scent mélange of its products.
It was an absolute pleasure seeing the brand in person once more…and not just at a counter, as in the past. Happily, the store is cosy and well laid-out with colourful translucent blocks of soap, stacks of creamy massage bars and boxes of fizzy bath bombs artfully displayed.
An ice-filled sink studded with Lush’s signature Fresh Face Masks greets customers as soon they step in, although I prefer the hand-made masks to be in a fridge than exposed. There might have been one behind the counter, though; these bowls could just have been testers.
As I browsed, I was enthralled to see new products and old favourites (hello again, Happy Hippy, Karma, Mask of Magnanimity!). Pretty gift sets are also available for this holiday season.
I leave you with photos of the luscious cornucopia of bath and body goodness:
♥ the rainbow of colours!
Relax la. Take a bath!

glad to meet this brand again in SG, love the masks and massage bar but pricing in SG (typical) is higher than the ones in EU…oh well, cheaper than air tickets anyways :)
Glad to see Lush in SG! Pricing looks a little higher than Australia but not too bad…
Hey, I was just wondering, could you please give me the prices for the Snow Fairy shower gels as well as the creams like, dream cream, sympathy for the skin and lemony flutter cuticle butter. My moms making me wait till Monday to go, cause she thinks it will be TOO crowded….so sad…:(
Also, do you know if Lish Singapore gives out free samples, like if I want to try out a few soaps, could I have a few soap samples from the shop. Cause in America, they give free samples. Anyway, please reply soon. URGENT!!
Hi! I’m one of the SA in Lush SG and I saw you in the store on opening day!! Wanted to chat with you for a bit because I’m an avid reader of your blog but it was soooo busy! Glad you had a wonderful time at the shop! :) :)
Weeee!!~ Finally can buy LUSH in singapore! I am always amazed at the chalkboard thingy. I wonder what they use to write those nice wordings on the board. =D
Hi Mag, where is the new Lush store in Wisma? Could you give the location or the unit number? Thanks!
Hi Adel,
So am I – I’m glad it’s back. I can’t recall the old prices (have to check my old reviews) but as a whole they aren’t too bad. I agree; still lower than air tix~ ;)
Hi Sam!
Higher than in Oz? Aww. But at least we get to see and touch the goodies in person! :)
Hi Ipshita,
You could ask on the brand’s FB page.
*waves* Adriana!
Thank you for the kind words. I look forward to seeing you at the Lush store again! :)
Hi Miwitch,
Yes, the writing is so striking and even! I think it’s special chalk or some kind of marker. Will ask them when I visit again, hehe!
Hi Strikingreality,
It’s located at B1-13, Wisma Atria. Happy shopping! :)
Sometimes, I’d purposely pass by Lush stores just to smell their yummy scents. :))
jenny
Haha, that’s cute, Jenny!
The smells can be overwhelming for me, though.
I’ve been reading your blog for over 2 years now. So glad you posted a preview of Lush Singapore. I can see that the prices are super high. If you bought anything, could you perhaps do a haul/review? Would really like to see what you thought about their products.
:D
Hello Danae!
Thank you for your support! :) I haven’t bought anything yet – the store was too crowded the day I went. I intend to revisit, though! I have used many Lush items in the past: before Lush arrived, when Lush was here and after it left. ;) Which products would you like to know about?
I intend to visit Lush @ Wisma one of these days to pick up X’mas prezzies. I heard really mixed reviews about items like Cupcake Mask and Porridge. Do you have any items to recommend? Different skin types will have different reactions to different products, so I would really like to hear your thoughts. Are bath bombs not really worth the $ cuz they make a mess in the tub?
Hi DANAE.,
The Christmas sets are on offer right now and really value for money! I haven’t tried the two products you mentioned but I loved Mask of Magnanimity (am now waiting for it to be restocked, together with the ocean salt scrub). I also loved Angels on Bare Skin, which I’d written about here. Bath bombs are fun to play with but the fizz and the colour fun dies down very quickly. The novelty draws people in, I guess.
My apologies for the late reply; I’ve been so swamped since end-2011! Happy new year! :D
Glad to see that Lush is back. Just went to the shop the other day and it brought back fond memories from the school days. Picked up a couple of ballistics and the porridge soap, which i thought smells like the neapolitan ice cream. Yum!
I normally order them online Hong Kong. Just compared the price and it’s still slightly cheaper to get em from HK with the free shipping. Too bad they can’t ship the face masks. =(
Hi Amkgal,
You’re young! I already had my son when Lush was here, ha! I like your scent comparison; I think the L’Oreal Colour Riche lippies smell like Magnolia Raspberry Ripple, heh!
Thanks for the input; that might be something to consider for people who’d order lots.
Hey! Thank god i found Lush store in sg! Btw, how much does th Breath Of Fresh Air toner cost in sgd?
Hi Sahkila and Mei,
Do check the Lush website – http://www.lushsg.com/.
hi, i saw your picture on the fresh mask the price was $17.90 but yesterday i visited LUSH @wisma all the mask at $24… I wonder now, they make the price even higher now? Thanks
Hi, I am interested in having my daughter’s 13th birthday party at the LUSH store on the weekend of August 16 or 17th. Can you please contact me in order to advise me on this? Thank you very much.
Hi Patricia,
Sorry for my late reply; I just saw your comment. I believe you know by now that you could simply ask the staff in the stores regarding this. Hope the party was a blast! :)
