Already available at the stores, the L’Oréal Miss Candy collection is the brand’s summer offering of sweet pastels.
Here are the Color Infaillible eyeshadow singles in the collection: 031 Innocent Turquoise, 032 Sassy Marshmallow and 036 Naughty Strawberry.
Look closely at the densely-packed pigments and you will see flecks of various colours in the pots. They aren’t as distinct as those in Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill shadows but they are pretty enough.
These pretty pastels are very shimmery (not glittery) and have an evenness that is characteristic of most Colour Infallibles. The fleck accents aren’t obvious and are evident only upon scrutiny.
As I’ve mentioned before, the numbering system is off and it seems the naming of these shadows is inconsistent too – for instance, Sassy Marshmallow is ‘Sassy Chamallow’ in France. It’s unfathomable and unfortunate; I do wish they were more consistent, making it easier for collectors around the world!
The collection also includes lipglosses. According to the brand, these promise to make your lips ‘glisten with a shimmering glacé gleam’ – nice use of alliteration! ;)
I haven’t opened it but here’s a look at L’Oréal Glam Shine Miss Candy in 707 Miss Raspberry, a pretty swirled gloss with shimmery raspberry and tangerine ribbons.
In Singapore, Color Infaillible eyeshadows retail at S$14.90, while the Glam Shine glosses are S$15.90.
L’Oréal Singapore sent me the turquoise and grey shadows, together with the lipgloss. I visited Watsons to purchase the pink shadow to round off my collection and I saw the display above, wiped clean…or not yet stocked, I’m not sure. I did find it at another Watsons store. :)
The Miss Candy collection is limited edition, so do get your beauty sugar fix before these sweet pieces are sold out!

Have fun, Popcorn! :)
Mag, I agree with you on the naming. It’s sometimes very confusing for people who wants to collect the eyeshadow. My favorite from this collection is sassy marshmallow :)
Hello Meryl!
I don’t know why they don’t standardise the naming/numbering.
These are lighter than the colours I usually favour but pretty all the same. :)
gorgeous I regret not buying these now I see this post LOL
Hi Darla,
I’m sure you can still find them! Good luck! :)
