This year, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté will offer an exquisitely-packaged Blush Radiance № 6 to commemorate the Lunar New Year. The blossoms and the gold/red theme spell Chinese New Year, yes?
I believe it’s Asia-exclusive but who knows, perhaps it’ll turn up in the US just like the Rue de Babylone palette.
A duo comprising a mauvey red (satin) and a reddened pink (shimmer), the blush is a beautiful rose red when these shades are swirled together. You can see the mixed effect in the first swatch from the left in the photo above. This Radiant Blush is part of the permanent range but the casing isn’t, so… ;)
Singapore will only receive 100 pieces of this limited edition palette. It is S$70 and will be available at YSL Takashimaya tomorrow and at YSL Tangs Orchard by next Wednesday. They aren’t taking reservations for it, so do give them a call to check for stock availability.
Here are the contact numbers:
YSL Takashimaya – 6736 4181
YSL Tangs Orchard – 6235 9206
Update: It is now available at the YSL Ion boutique! :)
I’ll try to update this post with proper photos after I’ve purchased it. I can’t wait to see it in person – it’s surely the most collectible makeup item of the month for me. Here you go! ;)
Good luck with snagging this palette! ❀
ETA: It’s apparently also available on Selfridges.com where it’s known as the Beauty Blossom Collector Palette, so it’s not quite an Asia-exclusive item after all…
