Its complex notes rivalled only by my beloved MAC Turquatic (so, so difficult to find now), Forest Rain has lingered in my memory ever since I tried it some time back. The scent aside, I truly love the glass bottle that holds the fragrance; its stunning emerald green hue and clean lines a joy to behold.
The reward card is issued with every S$50 spent and a stamp is given for that same amount. Every empty receptacle from Kiehl’s will give you a stamp too – a good reason to recycle those containers! These stamps can be accumulated for products and a S$40 Kiehl’s voucher will be given upon completion of the card.
More pleasant that this happy haul was the stellar customer service I received from the Kiehl’s beauty advisor, Yvon. She was not only patient and helpful the entire time I was browsing the counter, she was also cheerful and reassuring…despite it being near closing time. She even packed the gift, together with a couple of sample sachets, in a lovely box and gave me samples she knew I would like.
This was surely a far cry from the brusque treatment I’d received a long time ago at the original local Kiehl’s store. Thank you, Yvon. :)
good to know their service is improving! i’m so tempted to try their products, but must restrain myself for the moment. :D
I was also served by Yvon and she is very friendly!
She is also quite generous on the smaples.
Wow, it’s heartening to know there’s still good service out there :) I’ve yet to try their products tho.
Aichaku,
Give Kiehl’s a go; they have some very good products!
Hi Anon,
She is, indeed. I like how she goes, “Don’t worry about it!”. Hehe!
Hi Pinky!
Try, try! Some of the items are really nice.
Their prices has gone up since 2 yrs ago when I made a purchase.
Hi Anon,
Have they? Before this haul, I hadn’t bought anything from the local counters for years.
