Faulty Too Faced Lockdown Ultimate Creaseless Cream Tube

During my first visit to Sephora at Ion Orchard, I was excited to see Too Faced Lockdown Ultimate Creaseless Creams, coloured versions of the brand’s well-loved eyeshadow primer, Shadow Insurance (sometimes known as TFSI). I bought Bondage, a useful shimmery beige that I could use all over or as a base. However, I was dismayed to find the tube gaping at the end when I reached home.

The sealed end had come clean apart, revealing the tube’s creamy contents.

This faulty packaging is probably an anomaly. The staff at Sephora replaced my open tube with a new one that doesn’t look like it has an inclination to split open. Nevertheless, do check your Lockdown tubes before purchase.

Incidentally, the plastic tube of Shadow Insurance, though narrower and longer, is similar to that of the Lockdowns – its material and sealed end are the same. Yet this hasn’t happened to any of my TFSI tubes (thankfully!).

Grr, gotta go check out Singapore ION Ochard soon. At least they let you change it back :)

    Hi Lisa J.,

I returned it the day after I bought it. I know Sephora's customer service is generally good but I also doubt that they'd say no to me because no one would do that to the shadow tube, lol!

Too Faced has some great products, and some of the most fun packaging and marketing! Sephora has a great return policy!!
