Hop into this hare-ppy rabbit year with the Makeup Stash! Lunar New Year 2011 giveaways!
I’m currently using most of these products and enjoy them, so I’m excited that I’m able to share them with you too, thanks to the generosity of the brands involved.
Stand a chance to win:
1. Bioré Hydra-Clear
&
Bioré Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets
Hydra-Clear impressed me with how cleanly it removes makeup (it leaves no oily residue), while the cleansing sheets are a staple in my kit, thanks to their swift and easy makeup removal abilities.
2. Bioré Makeup Remover for Eye and Lip
&
Bioré Oil Cleansing Cotton Facial Sheets
This eye/lip makeup remover is a cleanser specifically for the delicate areas of the face. Like the Hydra-Clear, it is also paired with the cleansing sheets for this giveaway. :)
An award-winning exfoliant, this gentle cleanser is a consistent favourite with many women.
4. Dr Jart Acne-X Spot Cover Anti-Bacterial Concealer
According to the brand, this lightweight concealer not only covers up blemishes naturally, it also calms the skin with its acne-friendly formula which contains acne-combating salicylic acid and sebum-controlling ingredients.
5. Gransenbon Gran Brush Blush in 01 Lady Rose
A favourite of mine, this rose pink powder blush adds a touch of sophistication to your face makeup.
6 & 7. Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara and Heroine Make Mascara Remover Set
I love the lengthening and budge-proof mascara (its inkiness adds a nice darkness to the lashes too), plus it’s nice to have a portable remover that takes it off.
Two sets up for grabs!
8. K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting 24h Eyebrow in 01
My favourite brow liner, this indelible yet easy-to-apply product has since become a staple for me. I love how natural it makes my brows look.
9 & 10. Mandom Cleansing Express Sebum Cleansing Lotion (full-sized)
&
Mandom Cleansing Express Eye Makeup Remover (deluxe-sized)
This duo is perfect for people who want a gentle makeup remover, yet require something a little more for their water-resistant eye makeup products.
Two sets up for grabs!
11 & 12. Nature Republic Advanced Cell Boosting Travel Kit comprising Toner, Fluid, Day Cream and Night Cream
Formulated with orchid callus stem cell extract and medicinal mushrooms, this anti-ageing skincare range promises to revitalise and nourish skin, while keeping wrinkles at bay.
Two sets up for grabs!
13 & 14. Nature Republic Collagen Dream Travel Kit comprising Skin Booster 80, Emulsion 70, Essence 70 and Cream 70
Nature Republic’s best-selling skincare range, Collagen Dream contains concentrated marine collagen and acai berry to nourish and protect the skin. Its special formula promises to keep skin radiant, while providing moisture to stem dehydration.
Two sets up for grabs!
15. Paul Frank Lip Smackers and Julius Topper
These popular lip balms adorned with cute Paul Frank images bring a smile to the face!
16. Skin79 Absolute Total BB Cream (deluxe-sized)
&
Skin79 Diamond Collection The Prestige BB Cream (deluxe-sized)
Skin79 has a good range of BB creams. I like that they colour-adjust and do not leave my face looking ashy. Multi-functional and with good SPF and PA values, this duo – also know as Skin79 Petite Princesses – is a good way to try this popular BB cream brand.
17. SmoothE Gold Advanced Skin Recovery Cream
According to the brand, this moisturising anti-ageing cream is enriched with multi-vitamins to keep facial skin soft and supple. It also contains marine collagen and elastin complex to combat free radicals, preventing wrinkles and minimising the appearance of age lines.
18. Tofu Love Professional Makeup Sponge
The resilience and bounce of these washable sponges make them good foundation accessories. The heart shape is not only cute, it is also functional – the angled tips of the halves reach into corners easily.
19 & 20. Tickets to Robin Niu Er’s Kosé Beauty Talkshow in February 2011!
牛爾老師’s last Beauty Talkshow was such a success that he’s back in Singapore in less than half a year. Not surprisingly, considering how entertaining and highly-informative his beauty sessions are. :)
Two pairs up for grabs!

Hi,
I would love to see an anti-aging product(s) suitable for acne prone skin. I am in my 30’s and suffered from occasional adult acne. For now, I have yet to come across a product that is double duty in this aspect (if there is such a product available, do hope u will enlighten me). I m not very lazy when it comes to skincare but time is crucial especially if I need to rush.
Thanks =D

I would like to see Japanese Brand “Skin Laminate” brought into Singapore, probably in Watson. It’s the best primer/mositurizer with sunscreens I’ve tried so far. It helps my makeup to stay oil-free/shine free for many hours.

Hello and happy lunar new year!
I’m not sure whether you’re referring to what we’d like to see in Singapore this year or what we’d like you to feature more on your blog for this year, so I guess I’ll answer both!
I’d like the trend of Japanese drugstore brands coming into Singapore continue. If Visee and Lavshuca are brought in, I’ll be over the moon! I hope Sephora will continue to try and bring in brands like NARS and Laura Mercier. I wish the lovely Eve Pearl would come to Singapore and bring her salmon concealers with her! I wish affordable overseas drugstore brands like NYX, Wet ‘n’ Wild, Sleek, Inglot and Prestige would arrive in Singapore too without too much of a price hike.
This is not really a specific beauty product that I wish you’d feature on your blog, but it would be really interesting to see your favourite products to use as a make up artist for different looks/occasions/skin types coupled with application methods or tips that you’ve developed. For example, your post on the uses of white eyeliner was different and eye-opening.
Thanks for all the effort you put into maintaining this blog!

Hello and Happy New Year and Happy Ren Ri to you and your family!
My wish this year in terms of beauty products are more reviews on the makeup from drug stores. Plus, I hope our local Watsons could be turning into a Japanese and Korean drug store with make up tools and beauty products from both of these countries.

P.S. Dear Mag, I love your reviews and eye makeup. Do continue blogging! :)
